If You’re Struggling to Write, It’s Not the Book — It’s the Identity

I always speak to author clients about the POWER of their IDENTITY.

It’s one thing to write a book, it’s another altogether to launch and sell a book successfully.

When you work with me, we dive deep into your author identity and state.

Who are you?

Where do you write?

What do you wear?

What are you telling yourself?

And there are many other parts to this.

For example, writing in a relatively bustling coffee works as a treat for me – I find it energising, motivating and inspiring.

When it would shut some of my clients down and be too distracting. They work best in the quiet of a home office or out in nature.

Wearing smart casual clothes makes me feel relaxed, yet still very much ‘on it’ – whereas some people write in bed in their pj’s!

Knowing yourself and what works best for your productivity and success is great, but even better is figuring out and choosing the elevated author version of you to write your book.

If you create and click into place this identity piece, you are likely to find yourself writing a different version of your book…

My 1:1 transformational book writing programme focuses deeply on YOU first in an ‘author first’ approach before we even begin to think about writing.

Which way round do you go about it?
