This movie had me whooping out loud in the cinema on New Year’s Day for the CEO’s relentless passion and resilience to overcome every adversity to make the company a major success.
It was based on a true-life story (the best!). Jennifer Lawrence nailed it, and it has gone down in my inspired-movie history as one of the top films to watch…time and time again.
It ignited something within me (and every viewing since!) to excel further in my first business, so we all need to hear these stories of possibility!
We also need to be reminded that every single businessperson on this planet has tough times, when it’s a massive uphill struggle where the odds seem stacked against them. It’s easy to compare, to want to give up, to lose passion, to tire, in those moments that have you exhausted.
External motivation from someone else’s story can spark intrinsic motivation by striking a chord with your personal journey. And that is what we are looking for!
